The project is a short film of 5 minutes. It is based on the creator Yorgos Lantimos and it is for my final project of audiovisual media at the HKU year 1. It is not paid but useful for your portfolio/CV!
Due to the layered characters and unique story, this is certainly a great challenge to play. Especially because of the writing style, monologue and dialogue.

It's about a bad father-child relationship, where the perspective is from the child. But get this, the child is the camera (explanation will follow if you want the job, wink). Furthermore, it is absurdist and surreal but somewhat sad.

What do we offer?
We have plenty of rehearsal time and it will take 2 days, it will be filmed in Amsterdam or Utrecht and we are aiming for 27.28. And catering is arranged.

For the character I am looking for “Linda”: Linda is a 20 year old girl (doesn't really have to be 20). She loves children and animals and going for walks. She also likes going to the market. She is a quiet, cool (aloof, cold) person. Things don't surprise her that much. Her boyfriend is a fitness trainer, she does art herself and she doesn't think her boyfriend is that special. In fact, he's a bit stupid and she's too smart for him, which she knows. Nevertheless, she does love him. Linda will only appear in one scene, but the opening scene! :)

We are also looking for a man around 40 (doesn't really have to be 40). He plays "Hendrick" a man who brings food to another character. They then eat together and discuss their lives. Then he leaves again. A short but sweet scene. :)
