We are currently working on the film "Gevliegde", by WDKA director Abel van Essen. We plan to shoot this film this summer (5-9 July), and are already in the production process. We have secured funding for this project through the Municipality of Rotterdam.

The film addresses the topic of loneliness among young people and hopes to encourage courage to go out into the world to experience and express life through feelings and community.

Logline NL:
Adelio, a dreamy adventurer, has lost the meaning of life. Until one day he meets Ravi who shows him the beauty of life again. But when Ravi suddenly disappears from the face of the earth, Adelio absorbs the beauty of life. Or will he lose himself again in the spiral of loneliness?

What do we offer?
Since this film is a small-scale project, we are unable to pay fees unfortunately. However, production-related expenses as well as travel costs will be compensated, and nice catering will be provided as well of course.

This film is a good opportunity to not just work with a great team, but also being in charge for much of what happens!

Description
We are looking for someone to take over much of the production process in collaboration with the co-producer and our production team. Since you will be the "brain" of the project, your tasks will include communication with the director and all other departments, scheduling and organising the project, managing people and the shoot, oversee the assistants in the production team etc. You have a team to support you, but you will still remain the main point of contact and thus be able to work independently.

Job requirements / profile
Since this role has a lot of responsibility for the project, budget, department, and people, previous experience in film production is highly recommended. You can always ask for help and guidance within the team but it would be good if you already have a good general sense of what "needs to be done".
Dutch language skills and driver licence are a big bonus too, although not a must.
