Wanted: two actresses around 20, available on the dates Monday May 13, May 14 and May 15, and possible rehearsal time.

The project is a 5-minute short film, based on the creator Wong Kar wai of In the mood for love. This is for my final project of audiovisual media at the HKU year 1. It is a unique melancholic abstract story with the theme: grief and love. The layered main character certainly makes this a great challenge to play. I can only say that this is really a need for your portfolio, especially because of the writing style and dialogue, but also the freedom to bring the character to life. It is not paid, catering is arranged.

The story is about a girl around 20 years old, she is in denial that her first childhood love, with whom she was together since she was 11, has died. But this is the catch: as a viewer you are in the perspective of the main character, and he is still alive in her head. (Further explanation will follow if you want the job.. wink ;)).

We are aiming for the dates of May 13, 14 and 15 in terms of shooting days, they will probably be half shooting days. It will be filmed around Utrecht. Catering is arranged and you work with a fun, passionate crew of fellow students who are all really looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll see you there!
