We offer an unique internship where you will get a chance to learn more about international distribution, film finance, marketing, sales and licensing !

We are looking for a bright student with an extensive interest in film and who has commercial flair.

The Acquisitions Intern will provide general assistance to the Benelux Acquisitions Team and work on distribution opportunities as well as support our current client and project roster, which ranges from Feature Films to Comedy DVD releases.

In addition you will support the International Film Acquisitions Team, coordinating feature film acquisitions covering Universal's EMEA & LATAM territories.

- Research potential new titles / genres: create comparables, analyse sales results;
- Screen titles / read scripts and provide commercial feedback;
- Manage Acquisitions Trackers;
- Assist on identifying new local/global content and distribution opportunities available to the company;
- Assist on general office duties;
- Very competent in Excel, Power Point, Word;
- Precise, Sociable, Team player;
- Analytical mind set (WO / HBO);
- A living Film & TV Encyclopaedia;
- Clear understanding of the film / tv industry;
- Strong Commercial awareness & experience;
- Experienced in reading & analysing legal contracts;
- Flexible: hours of work are determined by project/business needs;
- Exercises discretion at all times;
- Fluent in English & Dutch or native English;
